Terms and Conditions for Conferences Article I. Introductory Provisions and Definitions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "TC") further specify the rights and obligations of the Operator and the person who purchases a Ticket for a conference, pays a Training Fee for any on-site or online training, or purchases goods sold by the Operator (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") as contracting parties to an unnamed contract under Section 1746(2), or a purchase contract under Section 2079 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, or another contractual relationship.
1.2. A “Ticket” is a ticket received by the Customer upon payment for a selected conference (specified by date, time, and location) through the website https://imaacongress.com/ of the company International Medical Academy s.r.o.
1.3. “Personnel” refers to the authorized employees of the Operator who ensure the operation of the educational academy, especially administrative staff, security personnel, lecturers, camera operators, office staff, and the academy manager.
1.4. By purchasing a Ticket or paying the Training Fee, the Customer agrees to these TC and all related attachments, which are binding for both contractual parties. These TC form an integral part of all contractual agreements between the Operator and the Customer.
1.5. These TC or any of their provisions may be excluded or replaced only by an explicit written agreement between the contracting parties.
1.6. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about your personal data or wish for International Medical Academy s.r.o. to modify or correct any inaccuracies, please read our Privacy Policy and request further information or contact us via email.

2.2. The Operator accepts payment for Tickets or goods via credit/debit cards (e.g., VISA, MasterCard).
2.3. Upon receiving the Ticket, the Customer must immediately verify the correctness of the refunded amount (if any), the conference date, and the name of the conference including its language version. The Operator is not obliged to acknowledge any later complaints concerning incorrect refunds or incorrect data on the Ticket.
2.4. The Customer is required to present the Ticket or confirmation email for inspection in order to access the designated (paid) conference area. The Operator’s Personnel are authorized to request the Customer’s full name and, in case of suspected misuse, may ask for an ID card to prevent unauthorized use (e.g., use by a third party).
